I found this recipe online and my family loved it.
Produces: 30
Ingredients needed:
3 cans pillsbury buttermilk biscuits (10 per ct)
60 pepperoni slices(2 slices each)
Block of cheese ( Colby Monterey Jack or Cheddar)
1 beaten egg
Parmesan cheese
Italian seasoning
Garlic powder/salt
1 jar pizza sauce
Oven Preheat- 425
Directions:
Slice cheese approx 30 squares
flatten each biscuit , then put a slice of pepperoni , cheese and second slice of pepperoni ( sandwiching the cheese with pepperoni)
Gather the edges of the biscuit at the top and secure them on top
Line the rolls in a greased 9x13 pan
brush the beaten egg onto the rolls
sprinkle with parmesan cheese, italian seasoning, and garlic powder
Bake: 18-20 minutes
Warm up the pizza sauce to dip the rolls in.
Notes:
I used shredded cheese that worked just as good. I've also thought about putting olives or sausage inside as well for more pizza combinations. I also found out to put the rolls in the oven, folded top down. Because if you don't then the edges keep opening.
